ELF ON A SHELF, CKTC edition!
A little contest was held in the spirit of the holidays to where any department/program on campus was able to create their own Elf on the Shelf scene.
CKTC's leadership academy students went around campus and judged both in the morning and afternoon.
Congratulations to Auto Service Technology (morning) and Pre-Engineering (afternoon) for being voted on as the winners for this year's competition!

CKTC full time program students went over to the Kiowa Tribal Headquarters in Carnegie to assist wrapping gifts for the Kiowa Tribe Head Start's Toys for tots Giveaway.
Gifts will be given away to those in need at the Kiowa Community Building in Carnegie.

CKTC's Criminal Justice Instructor and school resource officer, Mr. Dustin Thurman, talked to CKTC early care kiddos about Halloween safety during and after trick or treating.
Thurman also talked about brushing their teeth after they eat candy they have checked.
He also gave the kids Halloween coloring books about tips and safety.
