The Cosmetology Department at Caddo Kiowa Technology Center continues its monthly tradition of performing a Random Act of Kindness for our employees. This initiative teaches students the importance of building relationships, providing comfort, and making others feel valued.

This month’s recipient was Sharon Norwood! We truly appreciate everything Sharon does for our campus, and our cosmetology students were so excited to present her with this special gift. 💇‍♀️💝

Four FCCLA officers from CKTC Culinary Arts program gathered at the state capital for FCS Day at the Capitol. During their visit, the students participated in advocacy training, met with two state senators and toured the Senate chamber. They learned firsthand about the legislative process and witnessed state government in action.

We are proud of these young ladies for representing the CKTC Culinary Arts program and FCCLA with such professionalism and poise.

Our Electrical Lineman Training students had an incredible opportunity to tour the Washita Generating Station recently. Getting a behind-the-scenes look at power generation is a vital part of understanding the grid our future linemen will be maintaining.

Seeing the scale of the operations at the Washita Plant helps bridge the gap between the classroom and the field. We truly appreciate the PSO team for investing their time in the next generation of Oklahoma’s energy workforce and for their continued support of Caddo Kiowa Technology Center.
