Biomedical Sciences
Providing one of a kind solutions!
The Biomedical Sciences program at CKTC will challenge students to engage in rigorous hands-on activities related to crime scene investigation, human anatomy, genetics, disease research and prevention, cell biology, experimental design, and many other topics.
Biomedical Science courses are supplemented by rigorous math and science courses that will only further enhance college readiness.
Biomedical Science students go on to major in programs such as Biomedical Engineering, Medicine, Dentistry, Microbiology, and Forensic Science among many others.
Students may earn CPR certification. Students may also earn a Phlebotomy certification.
Students may earn HS credit as well as dual credit from SWOSU

Recommendations
Biomedical classes are rigorous and require some skill and safety measures. The following are considerations prospective students should keep in mind:
Reading, math and writing skills at a 10th grade level
Basic computer and typing skills
Logical reasoning and creative problem thinking skills
Have an interest in STEM
Desire to be challenged
